This award is fora student in the Mental Health and Addictions (MHA) Certificate programwithin the Community, Family, and Child Studies (CFCS) department. The student strives to develop knowledge and frontline skills with the intention of engaging in direct care for individuals with mental health issues. Thestudentshould have demonstrated exceptional qualities of empathy, respect, facilitative leadership, and a strong commitment to promoting advocacy for individuals and families who are living with mental illness.
