Graduation application
I never applied to graduate in my final term, what do I do?
If your program is still active in myƵapp, you can still apply to graduate; if it is not, email credentials@camosun.ca.
The ‘Apply’ button does not appear in the Graduation Application, what do I do?
The ‘Apply’ button only appears during the posted Graduation Application periods:
- Fall term: November 15 to December 31
- Winter term: March 15 to April 30
- Summer term: July 15 to August 31
If you’re eligible to graduate, during the Graduation Application period, but see 'You must be registered in all required courses to submit an application,' email credentials@camosun.ca.
I can’t submit my application, what do I do?
- The ‘Graduation Term’ is a required field. Select the active graduation term from the drop-down menu.
- The ‘Preferred Name on Parchment’ is a required field. Enter the name you wish to be printed on your parchment. Email credentials@camosun.ca if your name exceeds the 120-character limit (including spaces).
- The ‘Ship to preferred mailing address’ and ‘Ship to a different address’ fields may not support longer addresses such as international addresses. Email credentials@camosun.ca for help.
What do I do if I only see the current ‘Graduation Term’ on the application, I forgot to apply last term and want to apply now?
Only the active application term will appear. Please select this term, regardless of when you previously completed your program.
What is the ‘Preferred Name on Parchment’?
The ‘Preferred Name on Parchment’ is the name you choose to be printed on your parchment. Ensure it is correct before submitting your application.Replacement parchments for name corrections are $50 each.
How do I format my mailing address in my graduation application?
Format Unit/Apt #300 1234 Ƶapp Road as 300-1234 Ƶapp Rd and postal codes have one space between the first and last three characters e.g. A1A 2B2.
Do I have to wait until all my final grades have been submitted to apply to graduate?
No, apply to graduate as early as possible during the Graduation Application period.
What do I do if I need to change the mailing address for my parchment or edit my Graduation Application?
You can edit your application and mailing address anytime during the application period. For changes required outside the application period, please email credentials@camosun.ca.
Important: Updating your mailing address in your myƵapp User Profile does NOT update the mailing address of your parchment.
I submitted my application, but I didn’t receive an email confirmation, nor do I see an application date on the Graduation Overview page, what do I do?
Upon submitting your application, you will receive an email confirmation. On the Graduation Overview page, you will see the date on which you submitted your application. If you didn’t receive these, please email credentials@camosun.ca.
I applied to graduate, but I not longer see an application date, is something wrong?
This means you’ve been credentialed. Please check your unofficial transcript on myƵapp to view your credential awarded.
Can I have my application, credential or parchment expedited?
No. We do not expedite requests. If you are a domestic student, and you have an urgent need to prove your credential, you may request a completion letter by emailing credentials@camosun.ca. International students must , email International Advisors for more information.
Programs and courses
What do I do if the program I am completing does not appear in ‘My Program’?
Email credentials@camosun.ca and request your program to be added.
How do I know if I am in my final term?
You are in your final term if you are enrolled in your final courses this term. In ‘My Program’, all courses must show as ‘In-progress’ or ‘Completed’, including internship and co-op work terms.
Exception: Courses with start dates later in your final term* may appear as ‘In-progress’; however, a graduation application must be submitted.
Note:
- Fall courses begin anytime between September 1 and December 31
- Winter courses begin between January 1 and April 30
- Summer courses begin anytime between May 1 and August 31
What do I do if I have courses that are ‘Not Started’ or ‘Planned’ in ‘My Program’?
If you have courses that are ‘Not Started’ or ‘Planned’, you’re not eligible to graduate. All courses must be ‘In-progress’ or ‘Completed’, including internship and co-op work terms.

Internships and co-operative education
When do I apply to graduate if I am an internship/co-op student, and my final work term is the last term of my program?
Only apply to graduate during your final internship or co-op work term. DzԳٲEducationThatWorks@camosun.ca if you have further questions.
I am enrolled in an internship or co-op. How do I ensure I receive the appropriate designation on my credential?
The designation must appear as a program requirement, in ‘My Program’. If the requirement does not appear, or it is the wrong requirement, email credentials@camosun.ca and request to have your internship or co-op designation added to your program or changed to the correct one.
What do I do if I have an optional internship or co-op designation added to my program requirements which I do not plan to complete?
Email credentials@camosun.ca and request to have your internship or co-op designation removed.
I have a co-op designation added to my program requirements and plan to complete the internship designation instead or vice versa. How do I switch the designation?
Email credentials@camosun.ca and request to have your co-op changed to an internship designation or vice versa.
Transfer credit
What do I do if I took my final course(s) at another recognized post-secondary institution
Request transfer credit if your final program requirement is from another recognized post-secondary institution, you’ll need your transfer credit evaluated before you can apply to graduate.
What do I do if I have approved transfer credit for my final course, but it displays in ‘Other Courses’
DzԳٲAcademic Advising,Indigenous Student Services, or International Advisors if you have questions about transfer credit not being applied to your program requirements.
